Life Verse Examples

For those new to the Bible (like me) here are some example “Life Verses”. Like I said in my blog, search for your life verse that speaks to you.

John 3:16: For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 8:28: We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.

Philippians 4:13:I am able to do all things through him who strengthens me

Proverbs 3:5: Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.

John 10:10: A thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance.

Galatians 2:20: I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me

1 John 1:9:  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

John 14:6: Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Joshua 1:9: Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

1 Peter 5:7: casting all your cares on him, because he cares about you.

1 Corinthians 10:13: 13 No temptation has come upon you except what is common to humanity. But God is faithful; he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation he will also provide a way out so that you may be able to bear it.

Christian Standard Bible (Nashville, TN: Holman Bible Publishers, 2017)

These are just a few examples. There are so many uplifting verses and passages in the Bible to list them all here. They can be found in both the Old Testament and New Testament.

Take time this week and find the verse that speaks the loudest to you and share it with me please.
