Hello again and thank you for taking the time to read my blog. Today I would like to tell you about developing the mindset of Christ. I will speak from my point of view, but I am, sure some of you can relate to what I am saying. Anger, bitterness and resentment are all reactions that we may have when placed into certain situations. The question is was it the event that caused us to feel this way or was it our own faulty thinking that caused the reaction. For example someone riding your bumper, this is my biggest trigger. Is it really a big deal, no, but I have a tendency to make it a big deal. I will slow down, ride my brakes, or whatever I can think of to aggravate the other driver. I should just change lanes and let them by and not worry about it. It is not just us, Christ had feelings to. He was angry at the money exchangers in the temple, he also wept at the news of the death of Lazarus. So i will close this blog with a couple Bible verses.
Satan, better known as the Father of lies is the thief refered to in this verse.
10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10 NIV).
Now you ask how do we fight it and think clearer? This next verse should help.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things. (Philippians 4:8 NIV)
