Is God Too Far Away?

Hello everyone. Today I would like to pose a question to you all. Have you ever felt like God was just too far away from you or that you were to far away from God? Sometimes we feel like there is a large void between us (humankind) and God (the Divine creator). It is nothing abnormal at all to feel this way. Today’s life is busy, your schedule, kids schedule, work schedule, you get the point. The times have changed and that is just the way it is. I struggle with those same feelings and so does every other Christian. You just happen to be in luck today because God has laid this message on my heart today.

1. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. (Psalms 9:10 NIV) He will never forsake you!
2. Come near to God and he will come near to you… (James 4:8 NIV) Come near to God and He will walk beside you!
3. But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul. (Deuteronomy 4:29 NIV) God is there, you must first seek Him!
4. Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name (Hebrews 13:5 NIV) Praise God, Always, in all you do!
5. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. (Psalms 46:7 NIV) The Lord is always with you!
6. For the Lord will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance. (Psalms 94:14 NIV) God will never reject the ones that He sent His Son to die for!
7. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalms 34:18 NIV) When you are at your worst, God is there!
8. All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. (John 6:37 NIV) God will never push you away!
9. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. (Revelation 3:20 NIV) God stands at the door of your heart. Open the door and accept salvation!
10. and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20 NIV) God is with us, until the end of the Earth, God is with us!
